Women In Action

Women In Action is a nonprofit program designed to build the self-confidence of women making the transition from welfare to work.

Outdoor adventure activities, such as hiking, kayaking and ropes courses, teach women to confront self-defeating beliefs and increase their confidence.

Women In Action's founder, Karen Nemsick, was honored! June 2003: Women In Action Recognized in Nationwide VOICES Contest.
